“There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.” – Ernest Hemingway
This is the nth revision of this page because I couldn’t make up my mind on how to best describe this blog. They say the About Me page should summarize what one is all about but frankly, I am having trouble reducing my life’s synopsis to a single page. Here’s my attempt.
I’m an amateur writer. I pen essays and poetries for my own pleasure. I speak English, Tagalog, Java (geek) and a little Spanish. My dreams are filled with the rolling hills of Tuscany, the blinding white travertines of Pamukkale, the seemingly perilous cliffside villages of Amalfi Coast, the haunting beauty of the Bedouins of Wadi Rum and Israel, the volatile lands of the Jewish patriarchs. Half of my love for travel comes from my insatiable desire to capture the experience through my camera lenses. And finally, this description won’t be complete without telling you about my passion for sartorial beauty. I am as obsessed with fashion as I am with writing.
I’m destitute, I’m rich
I’m classic, I’m trendy
I’m sociable, I’m anti-social
I’m eastern, I’m western
I’m eloquent, I’m shy
I’m a wanderer, I’m a homebody
Thank you for stopping by. If you want a healthy dose of my blog, follow me through email, Wordpress or Facebook. I blog whenever my muse beckons, sometimes once a week. Questions? Comments? Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Finally, the customary legal claims just in case I become famous: all photos, essays and poems are mine and copyrighted unless otherwise noted.
