I have been running my own version of what sounds like a Ponzi scheme of shopping: buying, changing mind, returning and buying again of something with higher value then repeat, husband in tow. He finally caught on and put a stop to the madness. In the end, it was a good run. Cole Haan shoes were the last ones to be returned. There is a rationale behind this seemingly crazed behavior: I was trying to get the most mileage for the money I set aside as a reward for a recent promotion, albeit it was a bitter-sweet one. Anyhow, here are some of my loot.
The pants needed hemming as they are too long. I got them on sale during Memorial Day Weekend from BCBG. The only thing I don’t like about this store is the fact that their sales are always final. I also have constant problems with the length of their pants as they don’t have petite size. On the plus side, I never have issues with the width and other fitting because they have sizes as small as XXS – it’s always the length that is problematic. I also love their polished and editorial look and the dresses are always lovely!
